We want to assure you that when you conduct your business on DocQ, all your transactions, uploads, downloads, and personal information is secured by up to high grade encryption AES 256-bit SSL security*. This is the same level of encryption used by online stores, banks, and government agencies.

Maintaining the privacy of your documents, personal information, and reputation is essential and using the highest grade encryption ensures the highest confidence when working with DocQ.

DocQ also provides password-level security throughout the application. These passwords are secured with encrypted RSA-keys that prevent anyone from accessing your passwords.

While these elements are critical to secure DocQ; these are not the only steps we've taken. The DocQ Trusted Network has taken significant steps in Data Center Security, Personnel Security, and Application Security.

Data Center Security

DocQ has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information shared and documents uploaded. DocQ uses redundant state of the art data centers that are barbwire enclosed with 24/7 security personnel requiring no fewer than two different security clearances prior to gaining access.

Personnel Security

DocQ employees have no access to your documents without your consent. DocQ system access is policy based restricting user information from only being available on an as needed basis. (i.e. customer support has limited access for resetting passwords and helping with billing.)

Application Security

DocQ has built in barriers and audit logging to ensure your documents are secure from numerous hacking attempts such as session hijacking, spoofing, buffer overflows, password cracking, and denial of service attacks.

There are a wide range of techniques used to control these attacks that DocQ employs encrypted session ID's, IP Session logging and analytics, to control network attacks on DocQ. As an individual DocQ user you will find you have strict control over a documents use. DocQ includes policy based document permissions to prevent unauthorized use of people you work with from downloading or changing without permission. Users will also welcome support for PDF password security to prevent unauthorized access.

DocQ Verified Digital Signatures

DocQ verified digital signatures offer legally binding and irrefutable validity of the signors intent and authenticity. Whether you or your customers are signing documents, DocQ Verified Digital Signatures provide an additional level of security and trust.
